Hey Chef, owned and operated by Chef Lauren Lange, will be leading the lunch program for the 2026–2027 Vail Ski & Snowboard Academy (VSSA) school year. After 14 years as part of the VSSA community, Chef is looking forward to another year of preparing fresh, balanced meals made with quality ingredients to keep students fueled throughout the school day.

With more than three decades of culinary experience, Chef has spent her career cooking, and teaching. Her background includes 27 years as a Private Chef, 9 years as an Executive Chef, 14 years with VSSA, and 10 years as a Culinary Instructor.

Whether in the kitchen or the classroom, her goal has always been the same: prepare good food, share what she’s learned, and bring people together through food. She is grateful to be part of the VSSA community and looks forward to another great school year.

To participate Week #1 Lunch, please register below before 2pm on Wednesday, August 12th.

  • Unfortunately, requests made after Monday, August 12th after 2pm may not be accepted for the first week of school.
  • Throughout the school year, punch card orders must be placed by 6pm on the Wednesday before the week the meals are needed.
  • Enter all dates student plans to have lunch through the contact form.
  • OK to fill out multiple weeks and/or multiple siblings at the same time.
  • Punch cards may be upgraded to Annual Plan before October 1st.
  • Please complete this form once the punch pass has been purchased.

Our program is unable to accommodate food allergies or dietetic restrictions as all food is prepared in a kitchen that has eggs, milk, tree or ground nuts, soy, wheat, and other known allergens present.

All lunch options are “use it or lose it”; balances do not carry over to the following school year. No credits or refunds issued due to non-use, absence, injury or other incidents.
